CLEVELAND, Ohio –September 10, 2003 – To ease the financial burden on schools, municipalities and child care facilities due to growing demand for safe playgrounds and increasingly stringent government regulations, Kids Karpet® will be awarding free engineered wood fiber playground surfacing, at a combined valued of up to six thousand dollars ($6,000.00). One prize of up to one-hundred cubic yards (100 cu. yd.) of material will be awarded to each of the three categories; Elementary Schools (Public or Private), City/Community Parks, and Child Care Facilities. Contestants will be judged based on a 200-word or less essay describing the organization’s need for a Kids Karpet® donation.

In conjunction with the contest, Kids Karpet® is pleased to announce the launch of their new website. The new site provides users with comprehensive access to product information, dealer/distributor locations, photo galleries, and a convenient volume calculator, which helps customers easily determine the amount of surfacing material needed for their playground. The bright colors and playful appearance brings to mind the fun and excitement of a playground, but the site was also designed for quick and easy navigation - frequently requested information is available on the home page, as well as direct links to the site’s special features.
